Long time no see! Sorry I havent posted in a bit, Ive been pretty busy and lets face it: who actually looks good enough to have her picture taken in this summer heat? Not I. I do have to show off this little gingham number I picked up while looking for some new work clothes on ASOS. 

Now that Im trying to really simplify my wardrobe, finding pieces that can transition from work to play with little effort has been my mission. Thats why I love this little dress: rock it with a blazer in the office, then ditch the blazer and add a fun necklace for a casual-but-still-put-together look. For an extra layer of "fun," I tied a bandana around my bag, which is an easy (and inexpensive!) way to transform an "okay" bag into a bold statement piece.
